Alfred David Blue, Jr. is the founder and visionary leader of Family Life International Ministries, a faith-based, inter-denominational church which specializes in outreach values, educational enrichment, and practical financial management – in order that every member of the community can realize their fullest potential, and God’s dream and vision for their lives.

Bishop Blue’s outstanding leadership qualities strengthen church leadership through the development of vision and strategic planning, administration, and leadership development. His teaching and preaching abilities are thought provoking, socially relevant, and spiritually enlightening – and challenge all to fulfill God’s mandate for their lives.

Bishop Blue also serves as presbyter in Covenant Fellowship International, an international fellowship of over 80 churches and para-church ministries, under the leadership of Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin, presiding prelate, headquartered in Jacksonville, FL. Bishop McLaughlin is the senior pastor of The Potter’s House Christian Fellowship located in Jacksonville, FL.

He also founded Hope Strategies, Inc., a non-profit, community Development Corporation, established in 2000. Hope Strategies’ mission focuses on addressing the blight, social and economic ills, and educational deficiencies that plague our communities. Under Bishop-Elect Blue’s leadership, Hope Strategies, Inc. has many programs that address issues which adversely affect families and the community. Hope Strategies programs include, C.H.A.M.P.S.S., D.E.F.Y., Destined for Greatness International Mentoring, E.L.E.V.A.T.E. Leadership, Family Affair, Living Free, Manhunt, Pillow Talk, Project Transform, T.I.T.U.S.S. Project and W.I.N.G.S.

Bishop Blue is also the founder of “How to Father Training Solutions” – a community service agency and training organization created specifically to address parental skills for men who are fathers. Established in 2004, How To Father Training Solutions conducts monthly seminars throughout the community, and has partnered with San Antonio Fighting Back, The Young Offender Program of local district court 127, and the Adult Probation Department to create the “C.H.AM.P.S.S.” (Choosing Healthy Alternatives for Mental, Physical and Spiritual Success) – a reentry program initiative created to assist young men and women in at risk stages of criminal involvement. He is one of only two certified “Master Trainers” of fathering programs (throughout the National Center for Fathering) in the United States.

Bishop Blue, along with his wife Pastor Veron, give leadership in the church, and the San Antonio community, and serve in many community capacities including The Weed and Seed Coalition and Faith In Action Coalition. Bishop Blue’s leadership and vision combined with the efforts of Family Life Christian Church, Hope Strategies, Inc., and How to Father Training Solutions are powerful voices in the Body of Christ, and the community.

He and his wife Pastor Veron have been married for twenty-one years. They have two wonderful sons, A.D. and Austin, and reside in Bulverde, Texas.

Pastor Veron Blue has been married to Bishop-Elect Blue for 21 years and has two sons, A.D. and Austin. She is called alongside Bishop-Elect to assist him in fulfilling the mandate and calling to shepherd God’s people. She is a Prophet in the Body of Christ and has a heart for the people of God to know Him personally and intimately.
She also functions as the Executive Administrator of Family Life Ministries; supervising administration, stewardship, women’s ministries and other ministry related facets of the church.

Veron Eastlyn Blue is the Executive Director of Hope Strategies, Inc., a faith-based community organization based in San Antonio, Texas. She, as well as her husband Bishop-Elect Alfred Blue, has been involved with community work for the past 18 years.

She is also the Founder/Director of the Destined for Greatness Mentoring Program for girls. This program is designed to mentor, build confidence and self-esteem in teenage girls in impoverished countries allowing them to uncover, discover, and recover their dreams and goals. She is also the Founder/Director of Pillow Talk for girls, a program designed to promote and foster healthy relationships among teenage girls qhile equipping them with necessary life skills. She is a member of the Christian Business Chamber of Commerce and board member of the Urban Connection 4-H Youth Organization.

Pastor Veron is a graduate of American University in Washington, D.C. and is currently enrolled in Clayton College of Natural Health for her Doctorate’s in Naturopathic Health.
